dash Surimi Chips

Air dried and fried, these chips, glazed with tamarind, soy and sesame seeds are a snack for all occasions.
Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 8 SEALEGS Ultimate Sushi Legs
  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ tsp. Tamarind paste
  • 1 Tbsp. Black sesame seeds
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Carefully unroll the SEALEGS Ultimate Sushi Legs by finding the seam of the surimi and peeling it back to create sheets.
  2. Place the surimi sheets in a food dehydrator overnight or on a cooling rack in a warm dry place for three days.
  3. Meanwhile, combine soy sauce and tamarind paste. Set aside.
  4. Preheat oil to 350° Fahrenheit.
  5. Fry the dehydrated surimi sheets in oil for 2 minutes, or until slightly brown and crisp.
  6. Brush the chips with the soy mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
